Lesley’s passion and skill for piano began at age 4. Classically trained, and a fan of playing composers amongst the likes of Mozart, Chopin, and Gershwin, Lesley competed in and achieved superior ratings at state level competitions throughout high school, and at age 18 was featured as a ‘Young Hero in Music,’ where her live performance was featured on St. Louis classical station, KFUO 99.1. That same year, Lesley qualified for and competed in the World Piano Competition. As a young adult, she earned a piano performance scholarship to Illinois Wesleyan University, where she graduated college with honors, an economics degree, and served as the Chapter Pianist in IWU’s music sorority, Sigma Alpha Iota (SAI).
Since college, her piano performance continued and she began pursuing other talents as well. Competing in several pageants, Lesley earned the title of Miss US Missouri 2009 and America’s US Miss Spokesmodel 2009—where she displayed her piano skills in the ‘talent portion’. Subsequently, from 2010-2012, Lesley directed, wrote, and hosted her own entertainment internet TV show, ‘Lesley On The Town,’ which gained a notable following in the St. Louis area. In 2014, she advanced as a finalist and placed top 3 in a brand competition aired on national television (The Fashion Hero).
Lesley's love and dedication to music, writing and entertainment is apparent and she continues to write, play and do voiceover and acting work. Lesley also has served as an Acting Coach to children/young adults and Director at the renowned IMTA (International Modeling and Talent Association) in New York for consecutive years.
Outside of entertainment, Lesley loves speaking French (bilingual), networking, traveling, staying involved in the community, and she is a Certified Professional Resume Writer and President of her own writing business, Resume Makeover (www.ResumeMakeover.biz).
